Behind the Work
Introduction
I’m Clarke, a licensed massage therapist and bodywork practitioner based in the Arlington/Pantego area. I’ve been practicing since 2018 and began working independently in 2022, building a practice centered around performance, recovery, and everyday movement. With a background as a former Division I basketball player and a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Health Promotion, my work is rooted in understanding how the body moves, adapts, and responds over time.
Who I Work With
Over the years, I’ve worked with a range of clients—from professional and collegiate athletes to everyday individuals navigating stress, tension, and physical demands from work and lifestyle. My experience includes working in post-operative recovery settings as well as performance-based environments, which allows me to approach each session with both clinical awareness and practical application.
Philosophy
My approach to bodywork is simple:
I’m not here to force your body into change—I’m here to work with it. The patterns your body holds didn’t develop overnight, and they don’t resolve that way either. Real progress comes from consistency, awareness, and giving your body the right support over time. Each session is designed to help reduce tension, improve movement, and support how your body functions—whether that’s for performance, recovery, or just feeling better day to day.
How I Work
My work blends:
• Bodywork for tension and recovery
• Assisted movement and mobility
• Lymphatic support for circulation and internal recovery
• Nervous system-focused work to help the body actually receive and respond to the session
Effective work doesn’t have to be aggressive to be impactful. I focus on creating change with forcing the body into pain.
This allows me to meet you where you are—whether you’re training, working long hours, recovering from a procedure, or simply trying to feel more aligned in your body.
A Little More About Me
Being a former athlete naturally led me into this work, but what’s kept me here is seeing how much people change when they start paying attention to their bodies in a more intentional way. I’m big on consistency over quick fixes—both in how I take care of myself and how I work with clients.
